Side note: Goodwood banned modern F1 cars from making timed runs up the hill in response to Nick Heidf eld’s 41 second run in 1999. They deemed F1 cars to be too fast to be safe on the hill. What are they going to do if we see a sub-40s time tomorrow? You can’t exactly ban hill climb cars from a hill climb.

I would love for the new engine regulations to actually let them rev out again. Supposedly the current V6 engines are capable of reaching the 18-19k rpm of the old V8 and V10s but fuel flow restrictions mean you can’t get them past 12-13k.
